Dave Andonian, Managing Partner
Dave Andonian has 30 years experience as an operating executive, in M&A and as an investor while growing technology-based software, hardware and marketing service companies. Dave has acquired or invested in more than 40 companies and has sat on 18 boards of directors of technology companies ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies. Before founding Dace, Dave was an entrepreneur-in-residence for Flagship Ventures, in Cambridge, MA, and subsequently became chairman/CEO of Affinnova, a consumer marketing services company. He previously served as President and COO at CMGI, at the time the world’s largest Internet venture, incubating and operating company. At CMGI, Dave worked closely on the growth and IPO’s of Navisite (Nasdaq: NAVI) and Engage (OTC: ENGA), as well as AdSmart, AltaVista, iCast and others. Dave also held executive sales and marketing positions with PictureTel and at IBM where he was GM and VP of Worldwide Marketing for the PC Division. Dave currently serves on the boards of CityVoter, Collecta, EveryScape, LocaModa, Ticket Evolution and WhoBet and as board observer for Marlin Mobile and YieldMo. Dave was also previously a board director representing Dace's investment in Vitrue (acquired by Oracle Corporation, Nasdaq: ORCL).

Jon Chait, Partner
Jon Chait has over 25 years of experience in building high-growth technology, digital media and service companies as an investor, entrepreneur and former operating executive. Before teaming on founding Dace, Jon was a principal and partner-nominee at Pod Holding (now Pod Venture Partners) in Boston, MA and Stockholm, Sweden, investing in early-stage ICT convergence and consumer ventures. Jon was actively involved with Pod’s existing investments in Peppercoin (sold to Chockstone), ServiceFactory (sold to Birdstep), Corestreet, OzVision and others. Previously he served as managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, a VC seed fund and investment bank. Jon also was CEO and founder of Reality Bytes (sold to Lightpaths), a new media entertainment publisher and leading middleware solutions provider to multimedia PC and video graphics OEM’s. He earlier held engineering, marketing and management positions at Lotus Development Corp., (now IBM/Lotus). Jon currently serves on the boards of Cartera Commerce, LocaModa and Marlin Mobile and as board observer for EveryScape, HealthGuru and Ticket Evolution. Jon is also an active advisor to Tracks Media, and was previously active in Dace's investment in Vitrue (acquired by Oracle) as well.

Doug Chertok, Venture Partner
Doug Chertok sources new investments in the New York City area and advises Dace's portfolio companies on their growth and business development. Doug has founded, advised and invested in early-stage companies for over 20 years. He is the founder of Vast Ventures a seed fund investing in digital media and marketing companies such as Bidclix (sold to Aquantive, now Microsoft), Fotolog (sold to Hi-Media), Quigo (sold to Time Warner), BarkBox, Conductor, Fab, FirstFuel, kiip, klout, meetup, Moat, OpenCoin, OpenX, SendWordNow, simplymeasured, styleseat, YieldMo and ZocDoc.
